Shipping & Payment

Your Order Shipment

Packages are generally shipped within 1 day after receipt of payment and are shipped via USPS insured with tracking.  Whichever shipment choice you make, we will provide you with a link to track your package online. We do not ship packages during the weekend (Saturday-Sunday), so orders placed over the weekend will be shipped on the following Monday.

**A shipment delay will happen if the product has a lead time.  Lead times are the general ship date and then take into account your shipping choice.

Shipping (Domestic Orders)

Quantum Robotics currently only uses USPS.  All domestic (USA) orders are shipped via USPS. This insures our packages are delivered in 1-4 business days from the time it leaves our hands. You will receive a tracking number on your order as soon as it is processed which will allow you to track your package from our doorstep to yours via

  • Priority Mail (~1-4 Days) service comes with tracking and is insured.  Additional insurance, if necessary, is automatically calculated and added to your order.
  • Priority Mail Express (~1-2 Days) service comes with tracking and is insured.  Additional insurance, if necessary, is automatically calculated and added to your order.

Shipping (International Orders)

International orders are shipped using USPS which is the US Postal Service. For postal orders, the packages are handed off to your countries postal service for 'door-to-door' delivery. There are three options for postal shipment, First class international, Priority Mail, & Priority Mail Express International.

  • First class international is untrackable. Once it’s been sent it’s out of our control. There is no way to track it and there is no proof of delivery or shipment. The package can "sit in customs" for up to 4-6 weeks. Although this is rare it does happen. Packages are sometimes not delivered at all (1% of cases), so this method is to be used at your own risk! However, it is generally fairly dependable, arriving with a week or two 95% of the time. It is not a recommended service and only permitted for orders under $400.  Orders placed using First Class that have a total greater than $400, are automatically shipped via Priority Mail.
  • Priority Mail (~6-10 Days) service comes with tracking and is insured.  Additional insurance, if necessary, is automatically calculated and added to your order.
  • Priority Mail Express International service (~3-5 Days) service comes with tracking and is insured.  Additional insurance, if necessary, is automatically calculated and added to your order.

You are responsible for any VAT, tariff, duty, taxes, handling fees, brokerage charges, customs clearance charges, etc. required by your country for importing consumer goods! There is no way for Quantum Robotics (the shipper) to predict your country's customs/fee habits. If you do not pay the required brokerage fees, VAT, tariff, duty, taxes, handling fees, customs clearance charges, etc - we cannot issue any refunds.

Sales Tax

All orders with an Illinois shipping address will include Illinois sales tax on the merchandise portion of your order, unless you provide us with an exemption permit or Illnois resale tax form.  Tax is calculated based on the shipping zip code.

Sales tax is not charged on orders with a shipping address outside Illinois.

PayPal Confirmed Address

If you choose to pay with PayPal for quick and easy payment processing, your Confirmed Address will need to be kept up to date.

Credit or Debit Card

When checking out, please select PayPal as your payment method. Once re-directed to PayPal's processing page, you will be allowed to use a Credit or Debit card to complete your transaction.


For certain items we offer Pre-Orders (usually popular, hard to keep in stock items, and sometimes pre-releases). If you're placing an order for a Pre-Order of an item, it is recommended you create an order with *ONLY* the item which is being Pre-Ordered. Orders that are placed that contain both Pre-Ordered items, and currently In Stock items will be delayed shipping until the Pre-Order item is available. This is due to our Pre-Order software that manages the stock and shipping departments. Sorry for any inconvenience this might cause.

Returns & Warranty Information

15-day Money-back Guarantee - if, within 15 days of having received your product, you find that it does not suit your needs, you may return it for a refund.  Quantum Robotics, Inc. will refund the purchase price of the product on the same payment form, excluding shipping/handling costs, once the product is received.  This refund does not apply if the product has been altered or damaged.  Restocking fees of 20% will be charged on special orders only.

45-day Limited Warrenty -- Quantum Robotics, Inc. warrents its products against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 45 days.  If you discover a defect, Quantum Robotics, Inc.  will, at its option, repair, replace, or refund the purchase price.  After 45 days, products can still be sent in for repair or replacement, but there will be a $25.00 USD minimum inspection/labor/repeair fee(not including return shipping & handling charges.)

Disclamer- Warranty does not apply if the product has been altered, modified, or damaged.  Quantum Robotics, Inc. makes no other warranty of any kind. expressed or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness of the product for any particular purpose even if that purpose is known to Quantum Robotics, Inc.  or any warrenty relating to patents, trademarks, copyrights or other intellectual property.  Quantum Robotics, Inc. shall not be liable for any injury, loss, damage, or loss of profits resulting from the handling or use of the product shipped.

How to Return a Product - When returning, you must first email for a Return Merchandise Authorization number.  No packages will be accepted without  the RMA number clearly marked on the outside of the package.  After inspecting and testing, we will return your product and credit your shipping costs if the product is deemed defective.  We will send out the replacement product using the same shipping method used to ship the product to Quantum Robotics, Inc.  within 15 days.  In your package, please include a daytime telephone number and a brief explanation of the problem.
